What are the odds that an English woman would meet an American in Australia?


Well, pretty high it turns out. But, nonetheless, Hayley and Brett met on a two week Contiki tour of the North East of Australia. Their 'courtship' involved Hayley fainting in a shower and talking to herself, Brett having a pedicure and using a padlock to keep his (cashew) nuts secure, Hayley being trapped on a runaway horse and being 'rescued' by Brett (whose horse was so small his feet dragged on the ground), Crocodile hunting and eating by night, midnight bat watching, Brett being groped by a randy koala bear with a penchant for man boobs, and drinking Jodka: a heady combination of gin and tonic mixed with vodka and coke. Despite all of these obstacles, fate contrived to keep the two of us together, which is why, 5 years later, we are all headed to Italy for the wedding!
